Import scene is dead?

From the looks of things the Import scene is a bit on the dead side. Here is the deal , no offence to the lower level tuners here but I would love to hear from some real tuner / builders in the area and work out some plans to make some real power. Not so much to hunt for races but just to put together some real know how , doers....and then hunt down some races. Would like to like up with some other 350Z guys , EVO's 8,9,X, always the STI's or anyone who is a real power hungry "ricer" so they like to call us .

it could be because 95% of 3id is gone. We leave and the town dies. But we also should be back in about 4 months, and then the pain will be brought. lol. me and a buddy are condsidering standing up a new site for military owned imports. not sure if it exists yet but we(military members) need a site so we aint gotta find a new freakin forum every time we pcs.

ya see what i mean. Ya a military site might be cool if it got passed around. Can wait to get the hell home, the guys in Hinesville were really cool cats welcomed a "ricer" with open arms was cool getting to know those guys . Now Savannah on the other hand did hit a few of the meets up there seemed like tons of sitting around and not much ridin, could have been the cops sitting right there with us. But all in all i live in the Pooler area so a drive down 95 is just a little bit so i am sure when i get back ill see em all again

i mean the few times that i went to sav, it seemed to me that the cop who goes is one of the guys on sav's similar website and got down with racing. but they were all trailer queens there nobody wanted to do anything but sit with there hood open. i mean im all about getting together and hanging out, but to me the sav import seen was just to boring. ive been to tampa meets and when they go out, their whole website goes out with them, ive been to biloxi/gulfport ms meets and it was the same thing. with the military site, i just want to be able to pcs and not have to worry about finding another forum, or group of people to chill with who love their cars. there are plenty of import guys and v8 muscle heads on ft stewart that just dont know about this site. and 5 cars at auto zone on saturday night in hinesville isnt doin shit for the website or the car movement itself.

one more thing, got onto savnnah river dragways website, now what i found out is that its 1/8 mile track, but still an hour away from savannah, 1hr 15min away from hinesville, why arent we showin our colors there. i mean going through the pictures that they have on there website NOT ONE SINGLE IMPORT!!! that is crap, we cant just have a site to have a site, you gotta get the name out there and the member count up. i know this website is mostly v8 guys but still the 4 bangers have got to step up. i know a few people on this site own a H badge and im one of them, we have the most manufactured horsepower per liter than any other car in the world, yes in the world and we arent callin anyone out at a track? wtf? come on guys, i love cars of all makes and models, but i picked the H and i will support it till i die. and at our local track we arent even bringing our best. I VOTE A TRACK MEET WHEN ALL DEPLOYED FOLKS GET BACK!!!! shit i will organize the whole thing if necessary.. its time to get Hinesville Street Racing's name out there!!! i know im on my soap box but this honestly irritates the hell out of me... anyone who reads this pm me your dates that you will return home if your deployed and i will throw a little something together.. thanks..

and I have the most RWHP of all faded black paint no rear floormat mustangs IN THE WORLD    ,  ET's matter,  HP per litre is a bragging right for those who can't make big power or run quick times.  No flame war intended

ok, now you pulled a whole bunch of things, to make yours the fastest... this was one thing, hp per liter.. very simple.. one.. now hondas make HUGE power.. as matter of fact, i am plannin on puttin 300 to my wheels n/a.. not high numbers, but high numbers for the engine im putting in.. and in my 1200lb car, thats a lot, now 400 in your 3000lb car would be behind mind.. and when its done i will in fact prove that to you.. i dont just talk, ill put my shit to the test anyday.. but anyways, beating you is the fastest et... now i dont know you, or what you drive, i generally stay in my lane, "imports" but are you pushing 400hp?

When I am home, I go at least once a month (even when I don't have a car).  You can ask around, I try to set it up for weeks, posting on all the boards, and usually 1 or 2 cars shows up to roll to the track (and then one of those usually breaks on the way).  No one wants to drive 3 hours to a 1/4 mile track.

I push at around 400 ( twin 60s on a stroked 4.6 Mustang),  the point is power per liter is not a measure of performance,efficiency yes but not performance if you wanna go back to the 80s the rs200 had 250bhp/liter and was turned into a bad ass rally car with 300+per liter. The  Power to weight is a much more valid argument

zach, well see now that is what i was getting at, the power per liter in a light ass car are effective as hell, and gi i have no doubt, im saying other members arent active and it irritates me, my posts werent intended to piss anyone off.. im just saying as people who like the import community and love hanging out with other people like that(no homo) we need to do more to recruit, im slowly making this forum sound like a colt but i dont intend too.. i believe i have met both of you, zach im not to sure of but gi i am pretty sure that i met you.. i rolled with rob before the whole court thing and me deployin, i had a piece of shit black/white integra that barely ran.. im comin hard wheni get back though..
